Industry Leaders Selected for AP Broadcast Advisory Board
Executives from Fisher, Clear Channel, Post-Newsweek Head New Additions
Washington, DC -- The Associated Press broadcast division has selected six new broadcasting senior executives to serve on its TV and Radio advisory board. The board will gather for its semi-annual meeting in Chicago, September 27-28, 2006.
The new advisors include: Colleen Brown, president and CEO of Fisher Communications, Inc.; Don Perry, president and CEO, Clear Channel Television; Deborah Collura, vice president of news, Post-Newsweek Stations Inc.; Ed Munson, vice president of television, LIN Television Corporation; Dan Lawrie, vice president and market manager for Cox Radio; and Susana Schuler, vice president of news, Raycom Media.
“We welcome these industry leaders as the newest executives to the board,” said Ed Quinn, president of the AP Broadcast advisory board and president, McGraw-Hill Broadcasting Group. “Their knowledge and leadership are essential resources and will add valuable expertise to the group’s mission.”
The advisory board is comprised of group level executives from AP broadcast members. The purpose of the board is to provide input and feedback on the broadcast marketplace and AP's role in that arena.
