Organizing by region
to better serve you
The AP editorial process is being realigned to improve the way we report, edit
and deliver the news beginning in May with the launch of regional hubs.
The goal is to provide members with more stories-faster, by coordinating
coverage across an entire region. Between the bureau and the new regional desk,
members will have 24/7 coverage.
We'll start with the South Desk in Atlanta covering 13 states and DC.
Philadelphia will follow as the East region hub later this year and then we'll
roll out Central and West by the end of 2009.
